The Nature of Ballpoint is a glimpse into a world where landscape becomes celestial. Growing up in Texas, the light of the night skies inspired my focus on this natural yet unearthly glow. Subjects such as water are built up by masses of ballpoint pen circles to create patterns of obfuscating shadows and defining lights that confuse and clarify the subject.
